How to Paint Aquamarine Jade Stone

Hey, friends!

Dive into my step-by-step painting tutorial for creating a stunning Aquamarine/Jade stone effect!

  1. Priming: Priming: Start with Chaos Black primer to prep your model.

  2. Grimy Grey Spray: Apply watered-down AK Grimy Grey with a toothbrush from the side and above for a base texture.

  3. Grey Green Spray: Layer watered-down AK Grey Green similarly with a toothbrush for a speckled texture.

  4. Sponging: Use a torn sponge to dab both greys watered down onto edges and flat areas for a textured, camouflage-like effect.

  5. Glaze: Mix Contrast Terradon Turquoise and Contrast Medium (1:1 ratio) to glaze over the stone areas.

  6. Highlight with Pastel Blue: Use AK Pastel Blue for edge highlights, focusing on exposed areas.

  7. Final Glaze: Mix Contrast Aethermatic Blue with Contrast Medium (2:1 ratio) and glaze over the entire stone surface.
