How to Paint Emerald Fabric
Hello friends! I've prepared another step-by-step painting tutorial for you. This time, we're diving into how to paint emerald fabric!
Priming: Start by priming your models using Zenithal priming with Zandri Dust and Grey Seer at a 45-degree angle.
Base Coat: Apply a base coat of AK Esmerald, which will be the main color for this scheme.
Shadows: Deepen the shadow areas by mixing AK Dirty Red with AK Esmerald in a 4:1 ratio.
Highlights: Gradually build up the highlights by adding AK Pastel Green to AK Emerald.
Saturation: To regain some saturation lost by using pastel colors, apply a glaze of Contrast Terradon Turquoise.
Deeper Shadows: Mix a bit more AK Dirty Red into the base AK Esmerald (3:1 ratio) and deepen the shadow areas again.
Highlight Build-Up: Reapply highlights with AK Pastel Green.
Final Highlights: For the final touch, mix AK Pastel Green with AK White in a 1:1 ratio and stipple the extreme highlights.
And that's it, my dear friends! This is how I’ve painted the emerald fabric on the beautiful Rajakur models by Para Bellum Games. Enjoy and happy painting!
